Lea Nickless is a visual artist working in various media including watercolor, monoprint and digital imagery. She is interested in the unseen and is drawn to photographs of microbes, pollen and cellular structures – these images inspire her work. In addition to two-dimensional pieces, she also explores her visual ideas through the form of the book. Her work has been on view in solo exhibitions at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood and at Miami Dade College’s Freedom Tower. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Scripps College, Claremont, CA.
