Tennessee Reed

Poet and memoirist Tennessee Reed's debut novel is Adventures Among the X Challenged (Ishmael Reed Publishing). When Dakota finds work as an administrative assistant in an organization that helps the disabled, her explosive paraplegic boss shows her that not all disabilities are physical. Reed's first collection of poetry, Circus in the Sky, was published when she was eleven year old.  She has gone on to author five more poetry collections, most recently New and Selected Poems 1982-2011, and the memoir Spell Albuquerque: Memoirs of a “Difficult Student”.
