Christopher “Fresh Kid Ice" Wong Won, better known by his stage name Fresh Kid Ice, is the co-founder of the infamous rap group 2 Live Crew. He is a first amendment freedom fighter, Supreme Court Victor, independent music pioneer, and hip hop icon. My Rise 2 Fame (ICON Three Media Group), co-written with Jacob Katel, is his memoir. Jacob Katel is a Miami writer/photographer/videoguy whose work has been featured on blog, newspaper, magazine, and broadcast TV formats for Miami New Times, NBC Miami, High Times, WLRN, the UK Daily Mail, Harpo Productions, Playboy magazine, Inside Edition, Rachael Ray, BILLBOARD magazine, LA Weekly, and Village Voice. His specialty is combining photos, text, and video to tell Miami stories. He is a proud graduate of Henry Stone University.
