Move over Picasso! Turn an accident into art and become inspired by your dreams. Explore the world of an artist and take home projects that will impress your entire family. Featured books include: The Day the Crayons Quit, Dali and the Path of Dreams, and Extra Yarn.

9:00 AM Get crafty and create a bird's nest with various art materials inspired by The Boy Who Drew Birds.
9:45 AM Let’s visit Paris with artist Pablo Picasso and create artwork inspired by Paris in Spring with Picasso.
10:30 AM Put your construction hat on and help Ignacious from Iggy Peck Architect build a house.
11:15 AM Get crafty and create a bird's nest with various art materials inspired by The Boy Who Drew Birds.
12:00 PM Practice the art of Chinese Calligraphy and sing folksongs. Presented by the Confucius Institute at Miami Dade College.
12:45 PM Let’s visit Paris with artist Pablo Picasso and create artwork inspired by Paris in Spring with Picasso.

9:00 AM Read The Day the Crayons Quit and create unique crayon characters!
9:45 AM Beautiful Oops will teach you how to turn an accident into art!
10:30 AM Join the students of W.J. Bryan Elementary School as they read their ancient Egyptian inspired story, Judnique and Daiysis Defeat Seth, then teach you how to create origami pyramids.
11:15 AM Create colorful paintings of your memories while learning about the famous artist Marc Chagall.
12:00 PM Create your own wire sculptures inspired by Sandy’s Circus: A Story about Alexander Calder.
12:45 PM Storytime! Extra Yarn will inspire you to create your own monoprint.
1:30 PM Every artist keeps a journal to record ideas, doodles and inspiration drawings -- create your own art journal inspired by the book Ish.
2:15 PM Paint your own self-portrait in the style of the famous Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.
