OSCAR CORRAL is a two-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker celebrated for bringing complex stories to life in accessible and engaging ways through his production company, Explica Media. His documentaries confront pressing social and environmental issues and help catalyze change. His latest documentary, Interstate, exposes the overlooked consequences of the U.S. Interstate Highway System and its devastating impact on Black communities; it’s currently airing at film festivals across the country. Among his other films are The Fellowship of the Springs, Tom Wolfe Gets Back to Blood, and Exotic Invaders: Pythons in the Everglades, all of which have aired nationally on PBS, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.
