CHUCK BOHL is the Tony Goldman Director of Real Estate Development and Urbanism and a professor at the University of Miami’s School of Architecture. He has dedicated his career to building interdisciplinary programs for emerging practitioners, focused on developing vibrant, walkable mixed-use communities. In addition to The Art of the New Urbanism, Volume 1: (1980-2010) (Wiley), co-authored with James Dougherty, he is the author of Place Making: Developing Town Centers, Main Streets, and Urban Villages and Sitte, Hegemann and the Metropolis: Modern Civic Art and International Exchanges. He holds a doctorate in city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
