ALLY BRAITHWAITE CONDIE is the author of the No. 1 New York Times bestselling Matched series and the Edgar Award finalist Summerlost (Dutton Books for Young Readers), among other novels. She has also written several picture books, including Here: I Can Be Mindful (Viking Books for Young Readers). A former English teacher, Condie resides outside Salt Lake City with her family, including her four children. She has an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and is the founder and director of the nonprofit WriteOut Foundation. The Unwedding: A Novel (Grand Central Publishing) is her debut adult work of fiction.
