Tracy Moffatt is an Australian photographer and filmmaker celebrated for her experimental narrative style and exploration of race, gender, and identity. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Tate Modern, and the Museum of Modern Art. In 2017, she became the first Australian Indigenous artist to represent the country solo at the Venice Biennale. Her monograph, Between Frames, is considered a definitive study of her cinematic photography. Moffatt currently divides her time between Sydney and New York.
