LAURA KOLBE is a physician, medical ethicist, and writer. Her latest collection is The Decadent Movement: Poems (Pitt Poetry Series) (University of Pittsburgh Press). Her first collection, Little Pharma, won the Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize. Her chapbook Keeping House: Six Longer Love Poems was selected by Kwame Dawes as a Center for Book Arts annual contest winner. Her poems and essays have appeared in the Best American Poetry series and in American Poetry Review, The Baffler, Conjunctions, Harper’s Magazine, n+1, La Nación, The New York Review of Books, La Revista New York Times, El neoyorquino, Poetry Magazine, The Yale Review, y en otros lugares.
