Alexandra Fuller has written five books of non-fiction, including her widely praised and award-winning debut, Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight: An African Childhood. Fuller has also written extensively for magazines and newspapers including the New Yorker Magazine, National Geographic Magazine, Vogue y Granta Magazine. Her reviews have appeared in the Reseña de libros del New York Times; El Financial Times y el Toronto Globe and Mail. In her latest memoir, Leaving Before the Rains Come (Penguin Press; ($26.95), Fuller confronts the tough questions about her past, about the American man she married, and about the family she left behind in Africa.
