Costume design is not decoration, but storytelling. In Dressing the Story: El arte del diseño de vestuario, written in collaboration with film producer Jim Stark, costume designer Debra McGuire – whose film and TV credits include Amigos, Freaks y Geeks, The Morning Show, y Anchorman – reveals how clothing becomes character, how fabric carries emotion, and how visual details can shape an audience’s experience without them ever realizing it. Joining her in conversation is Elizabeth Schulte Roth, founder of the Asheville Literary Society.
