In polyphonic and formally restless sequences, The Rupture Tense: Poems por Jenny Xie cracks open reverberant, vexed experiences of diasporic homecoming intergenerational memory transfer, state-enforced amnesia, public secrecies, and the psychic fallout of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
