(Askowitz, Andrea) Andrea Askowitz’s writing has appeared in various venues, including El New York Times, Salón, Brain, Child, 429, xoJane, AEON, Manifest-Station, Sliver of Stone, El Washington Blade, The Manhattan Resident, NPR, PBS, and the anthologies, Looking Queer y All that Glitters. She is the author of the memoir, My Miserable, Lonely, Lesbian Pregnancy. Askowitz is the creator of the popular live storytelling event, Lips Service, as well as the executive producer, teacher and co-host of the podcast Writing Class Radio.
