CRISTINA GARCÍA is the author of eight novels, including Dreaming in Cuban: A Novel, The Agüero Sisters: A Novel, Monkey Hunting: A Novel, A Handbook to Luck, The Lady Matador’s Hotel: A Novel, King of Cuba: A Novel, y Here in Berlin: A Novel. García’s work has been nominated for a National Book Award and translated into 15 languages. She’s currently a resident playwright at Central Works Theater in Berkeley, California. Her latest book, Vanishing Maps: A Novel (Knopf) is the much-anticipated follow-up to Dreaming in Cuban.
