KATE CHRISTENSEN is an American novelist, memoirist, critic, and essayist. She is the author of Good Company: A Novel (Harper) and several previous novels, including The Great Man, which won the 2008 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction. She has also published two food-centric memoirs, Blue Plate Special y How to Cook a Moose, which won the 2016 Maine Literary Award for Memoir, and numerous essays for a variety of anthologies, including The Bitch in the House y Why We Write About Ourselves, as well as essays and reviews for major publications such as The New York Times, La Nación, Buen provecho, y Foro de libros.
