Leslie Wimmer

LESLIE WIMMER co-founded the Open Books and Records record store in 1979 in South Florida and the Open Records recording label in the early ’80s. The label released the first singles, EP, and Live at the Button album by Charlie Pickett & the Eggs, and in 1982, the era-defining compilation album The Land That Time Forgot, which featured several important first-wave Florida alternative bands.
