Marilyn Stasio is an author, writer, and literary critic. Earlier this year she retired as the crime columnist for La Revista de Libros del New York Times, after serving in that role for 33 years and writing hundreds of reviews. She also writes for Variedad, The New York Post, Nueva York magazine, and others. As an author she has written Showtune: A Memoir (with Jerry Herman), Sweet Revenge: 10 Plays of Bloody Murder (with Marvin Kaye), and Broadway’s Beautiful Losers: The Strange History of Five Neglected Plays.
