Trinidad-born poet MERVYN TAYLOR is the author of 10 full-length collections of poetry, including Country of Warm Snow (2020), a Poetry Book Society recommendation, and Getting Through: New & Selected Poems (BeltwayEditions, 2024). His News of the Living: Corona Poems (Broadstone Books), was published during the pandemic. His most recent collection is Unpainted Houses (Broadstone Books). Taylor has taught at Bronx Community College, The New School, and in New York City’s public school system. He’s currently an editor at Slapering Hol Press in Hudson Valley, New York.
