MICHAEL ANGUILLE is an award-winning journalist, professional, and advocate. After spending 8 1/2 years in Florida jails and prisons, he founded the Society of Professional Journalists’ and Prison Journalism Project’s Stillwater Awards, which honors incarcerated journalists. In 2025, he edited and helped publish Dile con el pecho: Un diario de prisión de Florida. He is currently pursuing a law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
