SARAH ANDERSON is a graduate of the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan, where she won two Hopwood Awards. Her story “Take Me to Kirkland” was originally published in Joyland and is featured in The Best American Short Stories 2025. Her book Fallow: A Novel (Farrar, Straus and Giroux) was longlisted for The Center for Fiction First Novel Prize.
