TRACI BRIMHALL is the author of Love Prodigal (Copper Canyon Press) and four other books: Come the Slumberless to the Land of Nod (Copper Canyon Press), Saudade (Copper Canyon Press), Our Lady of the Ruins: Poems (W.W. Norton and Company) – which won the Barnard Women Poets Prize – and Rookery (Southern Illinois University Press), winner of the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award. Her poems have appeared in El neoyorquino, Poetry Magazine, La Nueva República, Orión, La Revista New York Times, y Mejor poesía estadounidense. She has received fellowships from the National Education Association, the National Park Service, and the Academy of American Poets. Brimhall is the current poet laureate of Kansas.
