A South Beach Documentary: “Abraham’s Bakery”

Gratis

Aaron Davidson’Tout fim dokimantè li yo sou tèm jwif te fèt nan Sid Florid, men yo depase gou lokal yo epi yo alafwa abitye ak nostaljik. Yon mak karakteristik nan travay li se mizajou peryodik fim li yo, souvan ak rezilta ki touche kè, iwonik, oswa inatandi, kote fim ki te fèt san malice sa gen plis pase dis an nan yon kontèks anvan pran yon nouvo sans ak anrejistreman kontanporen. “Tradition at Steak” se youn nan twa fim y ap prezante nan Fwa Liv Miami a ki, sa ki etonan, kouvri yon peryòd 13 an – yon etap enpòtan, paske kounye a fim yo gen laj Bar Mitzvah.

Abraham’s Bakery

Abraham’s Kosher Bakery was a Miami Beach landmark for more than 30 years and one of the last old-fashioned bakeries of its kind. The film lovingly follows the process of making kosher favorites, and along the way shares the stories of some of the bakers and patrons. Various updates since the original film was made explore the continued journey of the bakery and its location.
