Speak Up: Creative Writing + Performance (Fall 2021)

Gratis
Saturdays, September 18 – November 13 / 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. EST

Vin jwenn nou sou entènèt pou Speak Up, yon pwogram ekriti kreyatif k ap sipòte devlopman atistik ak pwofesyonèl adolesan yo….

Nan mini-seri vityèl atelye ekriti kreyatif sa a, adolesan yo pral fè ekip ak atis-edikatè ki gen eksperyans pou yo otonomize pwosesis ekriti kreyatif la, soti nan redaksyon rive nan pèfòmans ak piblikasyon.

Pwogram nan ouvè pou tout adolesan, e li gratis menm jan li pa gen devwa. Pa bezwen okenn eksperyans anvan!

Enstriktè yo:

  • September 18, September 25 and October 2: Julie Marie Wade
  • October 9, October 16 and October 23: C.B. Lee
  • October 30, November 6: Alexa Donne
  • November 13: Zach Betka (Topic: Writing For Video Games)

Zach Betka is a WGA and BAFTA nominated interactive narrative writer and director. For the last decade, he has worked on some of the most globally resonant studios and video game products around: from Call of Duty at Activision; to Battlefield and Need for Speed at Electronic Arts, to League of Legends and Valorant at Riot Games (just to name a few). He has done everything from leading teams of Triple-A developers shaping the landscape of interactive narrative, to being the singular writer/narrative designer on a global launch title, to working on indie darlings with a small crew. Interactive Narrative is in its infancy as a storytelling medium, and all of the possibilities of where it can go are incredibly exciting. He is thrilled to share his learnings in this craft with teens.
