LAURA CHINN is the author of Counting the Days: A Novel (Dell) and the memoir Acne. She wrote and directed the Searchlight feature film Suncoast, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received a jury prize for Breakthrough Performance. She also created and starred in the half-hour comedy series Florida Girls and was a producer and writer on the Fox series The Mick and the ABC series High Potential.
