Monica Pacheco is an arts curator and cultural historian specializing in Latin American contemporary art. She has worked with the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami and the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Her recent exhibition, Lines of Descent, explored the visual language of Caribbean identity and received national attention. Pacheco is also a contributor to Art Nexus and Hyperallergic.
