Fabienne Josaphat will lead our first workshop in English, French, and Haitian Creole.
Theme: “Fille de Famille, Fille du Peuple: Class Stratification in the Caribbean”

Fabienne was born and raised in Haiti, and graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University. She writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry, as well as screenplays. Her work has been featured in The Master’s Review, Jounal Grist, Damselfly, Pawòl Pwezi, Off the Coast Journal epi The Caribbean Writer. Dancing in the Baron’s Shadow is her first novel (Unnamed Press, 2016).
