RIGOBERTO GONZÁLEZ, director of the MFA program in creative writing at Rutgers-Newark, the State University of New Jersey, is the author of 18 books of poetry and prose, including The Book of Ruin, Unpeopled Eden, Black Blossoms, ak To the Boy Who Was Night: Poems: Selected and New (Four Way Books). He is also the editor of Latino Poetry: A Library of America Anthology, published in 2024.
