TESS SHARPE was born in a mountain cabin to a punk-rocker mother and grew up in rural California. She lives deep in the backwoods with a pack of dogs and a group of formerly feral forest cats. She is the award-winning author of many books for kids, teenagers, and adults, including Barbed Wire Heart: A Thriller and The New York Times bestseller The Girls I’ve Been.
