Introducing another amazing person in the Miami Literary community who is joining our Miami Reads initiative, Oscar Fuentes. Otherwise known as @thebiscaynepoet whose hometown is right here in Biscayne Park, Miami and birth sign is Aquarius.
Why do you love books?
I love books because they take me to faraway places, and when I am done reading, I feel something within me has changed. Similar to the way I feel when I return from my travels.
Favorite part of Miami Book Fair?
The live concerts, The Porch [returning this year as Off the Shelf], the Liver Typewriter Poetry moments, and – of course – the authors.
