Fiction: Subverting Timelines with Bryan Washington

Free

5-Day Virtual Workshop
Monday – Friday, July 27 – 31 | 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST

We’ll work through intersecting structures, parallel timelines, elliptical narratives, and stories that forego chronology altogether as we parse the limits of structure, and the ways our forms dictate the content we turn to.

Bryan Washington has written for the New Yorker, the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine, the BBCVulture, and Bon Appétit. He is the author of Lot, the recipient of an O. Henry Award, an Ernest J. Gaines Award, and a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 Winner. His first novel, Memorial, will be released in the fall

Registration required to receive link for virtual workshop.
