Memberships
As a Friend of the Fair, your support plays a vital role in bringing authors to Miami each year. Author travel and lodging alone total approximately $400,000 annually, with additional expenses for transportation and hospitality increasing that investment even further. Friends of the Fair currently help cover roughly one-third of these author-related costs — a meaningful and essential contribution.
While Miami Dade College generously provides the venues and infrastructure that make the Fair possible, it is our Friends who make it possible for the authors to be here. Because of you, our community continues to experience thoughtful conversations, diverse voices across genres, and enriching educational opportunities that define Miami Book Fair.
