GUADALUPE ROSALES is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who works with sculpture, photography, video, sound, drawing, community-based projects, and collaborations who is best known for her community-generated archival projects, Veteranas and Rucas and Map Pointz, which can be found on Instagram. Explorations of how history and culture are framed and who does the framing, the archives are now complemented by Rosales’ new book, East of the River: A Memoir of Los Angeles Girlhood (One World).
