Upper plaza of Children’s Alley

Read, imagine, and create! The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College invites young readers to create unique pieces of art inspired by five delightfully poignant children’s books. Through activity prompts designed to spark their imagination, children will thoughtfully engage with award-winning stories that explore important concepts such as home, empathy, and belonging.  Featured Books: La Frontera; Stepping Stones: A Refugee Family’s Journey; Dreamers, A Different Pond; Her Right Foot.
