ALEJANDRO D. GONZÁLEZ is the executive director of The Idea Center, the hub for entrepreneurship and innovation at Miami Dade College, and a proud member of the Blackstone LaunchPad network. He leads a team of more than 10 people who create programs to develop entrepreneurial skills among students and staff at the college and connect small-business owners with the resources they need to grow their businesses. The Idea Center serves more than 6,000 people each year across eight campuses at the largest higher education institution in the country.
