ALEJANDRO NODARSE was born and raised in Miami, the son of Cuban exiles. He holds a master’s degree from Florida State University and an MFA from the University of Miami. He is an alumna of the Las Dos Brujas Writers’ Workshop, a former independent bookseller, and a former staff member at the Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation writers’ conference. Nodarse is an avid biker, camper, and hiker of the Everglades and is currently a public high school English and creative writing teacher in Miami-Dade County. Blood in the Cut: A Novel (Flatiron Books) is his debut book.
