Curtis S. Chin

CURTIS S. CHIN is a former network TV writer and an award-winning filmmaker and activist who has been recognized by ABC/Disney Television, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and more. Since leaving TV to transition to social justice documentaries, he has screened his films at more than 600 venues in 16 countries. He has written for CNN, Bon Appétit, and the Boston Globe‘s Emancipator, and is a co-founder and the first executive director of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop in New York City. His debut book is Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant: A Memoir (Little, Brown and Company).
