Luis Pimentel is a Dominican American poet and musician whose bilingual work celebrates the sounds and spirit of the Caribbean. His latest poetry collection, Canciones del Sol, was published by Beacon Press in 2024. Pimentel also performs as a percussionist and leads cultural workshops on Afro-Caribbean rhythms and verse.
