Max Rudin

MAX RUDIN is the president and publisher of the Library of America. He writes on American history, literature, music, and popular culture; gives frequent talks on American writing; and produces and hosts LOA Live, an online series on American literature and history that reaches viewers in all 50 states and 77 countries and territories. He has directed many national public humanities initiatives, most recently Lift Every Voice: Why African American Poetry Matters and currently Latino Poetry: Places We Call Home, a partnership with public libraries and arts organizations. Rudin holds degrees in English and American literature from Princeton University and Columbia University.
