LISA DILLMAN translates Spanish, Catalan, and Latin American writers. She teaches in the Spanish and Portuguese department at Emory University in Atlanta. Some of her recent translations include A Silent Fury by Yuri Herrera, A Luminous Republic by Andrés Barba, The Touch System by Alejandra Costamagna, and Abyss (World Editions) by Pilar Quintana, for which Dillman has been longlisted for a 2023 National Book Award for Translated Literature.
