The Elser:
The Elser is the closest hotel to the Miami Book Fair grounds and is therefore our top recommendation. A special rate of $209 + tax per night is available through this booking link. Please note that when you are on the calendar page, the displayed rate will initially include the daily amenity fee. However, once you proceed with the booking process, the amenity fee will automatically be removed and the discounted group rate will be reflected. The cutoff date to reserve is November 2, 2026.
Yotel Miami:
YOTEL Miami is located next to one of the Book Fair entrances. Regular rooms start at $180, while PAD Suites start at $249 with the discount code, although rates fluctuate. Here is the link to book regular rooms, and this is the link to search for “PAD” Suites, which are residential-style suites. For both options, the corporate code is MDC001. Select your check-in and check-out dates, and a pop-up window will appear where you can enter the corporate code. Then click Search.
Hyatt Regency Miami:
Hyatt Regency Miami – Downtown Miami: a short walk from the Book Fair. Discounted rooms start at $279, although rates fluctuate. Please use this link and enter corporate code 18885 to access the Miami Dade College rates.
Element Miami:
Element Miami – Brickell: You can access the festival grounds from this hotel via the free aboveground Metromover system (Brickell City Center to College North Stations). Standard rooms are $229 per night, via this booking link. Rate includes a destination fee that covers a daily $15 food and beverage credit, a daily dessert for two guests, high-speed internet access, and other amenities. Rooms feature a full kitchen with a stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher. The room block is limited, and the cutoff date to reserve is October 26, 2026.
Hilton Garden Inn:
Hilton Garden Inn – Brickell: From this location, we recommend using a ride-sharing service to access the Book Fair. Discounted rates start at $159 via this booking link. Rates include amenities such as digital key access for Hilton Honors members, an on-site restaurant and bar, an outdoor pool area with bar access, complimentary in-room high-speed internet, room service during dinner hours, on-site laundry, a complimentary business center with printing, and a fully equipped gym overlooking the pool area.
