ANICK VORBE, a storyteller born and raised in Haiti, has called Miami home for more than 20 years. Her debut book, My Drumbeats (Palmetto Publishing), is inspired by grief, pain, natural healing after a tragic loss, her life’s lessons, and more. It is Vorbe’s form of activism toward the collective consciousness. When not writing, this multitalented artist, evolving in fashion and interior designing, enjoys her yoga practice and building her mindful community around wellness.
