CAROLE ARTY DÉMESMIN is a Haitian singer, artist, author, and Vodou priestess. A Berklee College of Music alumna from Léogâne, Haiti, she combines Haitian folk traditions with her musical training and has worked to preserve and share Haitian culture through performance and cultural exchange. She founded United Haitian Artists to support artists and their work. Her trilingual book, Four Breaths of Kiskeya/Quatre Souffles de Quisqueya/Kat Souf Kiskeya, was published in 2026 in English, French, and Haitian Creole.
