MICHAEL ANGUILLE is an award-winning journalist, professional, and advocate. After spending 8 1/2 years in Florida jails and prisons, he founded the Society of Professional Journalists’ and Prison Journalism Project’s Stillwater Awards, which honors incarcerated journalists. In 2025, he edited and helped publish Say It With Your Chest: A Florida Journal of Prison Writing. He is currently pursuing a law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
