Yacht Rock Miami (WYRM) is a South Florida-based, listener-supported internet radio station and DJ collective celebrating the smooth, timeless sounds of the 1970s and ’80s. Founded by DJs Juan Luv and Alex “Captain G” Gutierrez, WYRM blends carefully curated music, hidden gems, and live DJ performances with a distinctly Miami vibe and a fun, laid-back nautical spirit. Celebrating such artists as Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Toto, Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, and The Doobie Brothers, WYRM explores related sounds including blue-eyed soul, smooth jazz, disco, funk, and sophisticated pop. Its live DJ concept adds Miami personality, humor, nautical costumes, and immersive entertainment to the traditional yacht rock listening experience.
