Alison Isaacs is a children’s author, librarian, and literacy advocate living in Miami. After earning her MLS from Florida State University, she spent two decades fostering a love of reading among young learners in both school and public libraries. Her debut picture book, The Magic Mango Tree, celebrates Caribbean folklore and family storytelling traditions. She continues to promote bilingual literacy programs across South Florida and serves as an advisor for the Read to Succeed initiative. When not writing, she tends her garden and dreams up new tales inspired by the region’s lush landscapes.
