Amira Shah is a Pakistani American essayist and educator whose work focuses on identity, migration, and intergenerational memory. Her debut essay collection, Between Languages, was published by Milkweed Editions in 2024. Shah teaches creative nonfiction at Emerson College and was a 2023 Fulbright fellow in Lahore. She has written for The Atlantic, The New York Times, and Guernica.
