Carolina Hospital

CAROLINA HOSPITAL is a poet, prose writer, and editor. Her works include the poetry collections All Roads Lead to Here: Poems (Anhinga Press); Bamboo Ghost Notes: Poems; Key West Nights & Other Aftershocks; and The Child of Exile: A Poetry Memoir,as well as Myth America: Poems in Collaboration and How to Get into Trouble: Poems in Collaboration, both collaborative collections with Nicole Hospital-Medina, Holly Iglesias, and Maureen Seaton. She also wrote the book A Little Love: A Novel under the pen name C. C. Medina. Hospital collaborated with South Florida writers on the New York Times bestselling novel Naked Came the Manatee. She edited Los Atrevidos: Cuban American Writers, a groundbreaking anthology of Cuban Americans writing in English, as well as A Century of Cuban Writers in Florida. She wrote the lyrics to the song cycle Greetings from Florida: Postcards from Paradise by composer and University of Florida assistant professor Scott Lee, which was released as a CD.
