CONOR MCCREERY, author of The Last Witch: Blood & Betrayal! (BOOM! Box) with artist V.V. Glass, is a former journalist who, after receiving one too many death threats, decided to move into the world of comics. He co-created Fela Kuti: Music Is the Weapon (HarperCollins), a graphic novel about the legendary African musician; the YA adventure series The Last Witch (BOOM!); the coming-of-age tale Status (Scholastic); and the horror-comedy Trickster (TPub). He has worked for many of the industry’s top publishers, including DC, IDW, BOOM!, Titan, and Dark Horse. He writes about sensitive boys and kick-ass girls, although not always in that order.
