EMMA BRODIE is the author of Into the Blue: A Love Story (Ballantine Books) – a New York Times bestseller and Reese’s Book Club pick – as well as Songs in Ursa Major: A Novel, winner of the American Book Award. She is an executive editor at Clarkson Potter and a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University writing seminars program. She lives on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, with her husband and their very good dog, Freddie Mercury.
