A recipient of the Silver Musgrave Medal and Marcus Garvey Excellence Award, GEOFFREY PHILP is a poet, educator, and Garvey scholar whose work bridges literature, history, and cultural empowerment. A faculty member at the Marcus Garvey Education Academy, he is the author of poetry, fiction, and essays centered on the African diaspora, including Garvey’s Ghost, Marcus and the Amazons, and My Name is Marcus.
